Cleaning your property can be very time consuming and hard work. Getting out your jet wash machine and slowly moving around the patio/driveway cleaning it as best as you can with that machine. I’m sure you’d rather spend your weekends enjoying your family and entertaining friends on your newly cleaned patio. With the warmer weather approaching and barbecue season nearly upon us, there’s no better time to turn that dull and dirty patio into a place to happily spend more time outside. Here is how we would explain how to clean and seal your driveway and patio.

To keep the jet wash concentrating on the substrate make sure you have a whirlybird attachment. It will save a lot of time, effort and keep all around clean and dry including yourself.

Keep pets away until surface is fully dry

Remember, if it is blocks you have just cleaned then you will need to replace the sand between the joints. This is generally dried kiln sand bought from a builder’s merchant or D.I.Y store.

Once this process is done and cleaned then the next job is to protect the cleaned surface from the problems mentioned above. I will be adding several blogs bespoke to individual substrates to understand and apply the relevant sealer that substrate (Natural Stone. Indian StoneBlock PavingMan-Made pavingSlate and GraniteBrick and Stone) needed to be used.
